Salmon roe is an exclusive delicacy in Japan. Great for sushi but even better as ‘ikura-don’, which is a bowl of hot rice with a whole cup of ikura on top. Just close your eyes and feel the roe pop in your mouth!
1. Defrost the Ikura in the refrigerator or in cold water for 30 minutes.
2. Remove the package and eat the fish raw.
3. Enjoy it!
