Coronavirus measures

The spread of the new coronavirus is a great concern to everyone. At Hokkai Suisan we are doing our best to let deliveries of all orders continue, as much as possible. Many countries continue to allow the transport and delivery of frozen food, as part of guaranteeing the food supply, and decreasing the need for consumers to go out to buy food. However, as a company, we are also dependent on decisions made by the governments of various European countries, the EU, and (where applicable) our courier TNT Express.

We ask of our customers the following:

  • All deliveries are done “contactless”. This means paying by cash or debit card is not possible in areas where it previously was. Please choose an online payment option when you place your order. If you have already placed a pay-on-delivery order you will receive further instructions on how to make an online payment.
  • Our customer service desk is very busy at the moment. If you would like to contact us about an order and the delivery day is soon, it is possible to call us by telephone, but depending on our delivery schedule, we may still ask you to send an e-mail.
  • If you would like to make a change to an existing order and the delivery day is a bit further away, please contact us by e-mail, preferably by replying to the automated message that contains your order number and delivery address.
  • If you have placed an order and you are worried if your delivery can still go through, there is no need to contact us. If there is some sort of change in the delivery of your order, we will contact you as soon as possible.

We trust on your understanding in this exceptional situation.
